UTAH TRIP

We were in Utah over the past few weeks. We spent time in St. George, Salt Lake, and Park City. It was so great spending so much time with family and visiting friends. We went swimming, shopping, out to eat a lot, played so many games, and went to the movies. It was so much fun that it was exhausting. To give you an idea of how much we did, I took over 300 pictures on our trip. I know, CRAZY! Some of the pics are on our webpage. Click HERE to view them.

Being Silly

Video of Emilee showing off in the swimming pool.
She swims very well and now can do hand stands in the water along with front and back flips.

Emilee’s Hair Cut

I’ve been dreading this post, but I’m about to post a lot of pics on-line so I thought it would be good to post an explanation to Emilee’s new hairdo. She was at a friends house playing and the friend got the scissors and just went to town on Emilee’s hair. The first time I saw her after it happened, I was in shock and literally sick to my stomach. I rushed her straight to Super Cuts. This is the longest style they could make it. That’s how short and choppy it was. On the positive side: It’s now summer and it’s great for swimming. It’s a good thing hair does grow back, but it’s sure not fast enough!

Happy Fathers Day!

Matt took both the girls to a daddy daughter princess party last night. They were so excited about it and loved dressing up with make-up, polish, and earrings. They had a fun time eating, making crafts, and dancing. I loved it because I got a break by going to dinner and a movie.

Matt and his many Talents!

Matt never ceases to amaze me. He is always up to something good. The girls and I are on vacation for a few weeks and while we’ve been gone Matt started this project. He built a built-in entertainment center. He has lots of ideas up his sleeve for things he wants to do with our home and it all starts here. When we go away he has no distractions and can be more efficient while we are gone and I love it because I can come home to a new look. Matt has so many amazing talents and if it’s something he’s never done before than he learns how to do it. This project is a first for Matt and he did an incredible job. I can’t wait to see it! Thanks for all your hard work Matt. We love you and miss you!

Matt added shelves on the other side also because it made it look nicer.
