THE POLAR EXPRESS

Last weekend we went to the town of Williams off of Route 66. It’s about two hours north of us. Every year they have The Polar Express train ride which is a replica of the book/movie experience. We wear our pajamas. We get on the train with our tickets and they dance and serve hot cocoa with cookies (just like the movie). We read the book and sing Christmas carols. We ride to the north pole to pick up Santa and then back again with Santa visiting each cabin to talk to the children and give them each a bell. We went with our good friends, The Jones’ and had a lot of fun. We took so many pics that can be found by clicking HERE. What a great way to start off The wonderful Holiday Season!

Backyard

First of all, I just need to say what an amazing job Matt has done on our Backyard. He has done a lot of it himself and we’ve just hired out the jobs that needed to be done by machine. We still have finishing touches to do to make it look pretty like adding the rock and trees/bushes that will go in the back and on the sides, but the functionality of it all is DONE!

Remember This?…

Well now it’s This!…

What a Difference… Click HERE to see the pics of the process!

SAMMY
I just had to post more pics of Sammy. He has been so fun to have in our home. It’s like a constant playmate for the girls. And I am not a dog person, but I have completely fallen in love with him too. Matt is obviously a fan and I guess it’s perfect because we now have another male in the household. With three girls and soon to be four, Matt was feeling very outnumbered. I love the dog toys and these food ones are two of my favorite. It just looks so real and so funny to see him running around with them in his mouth. I have to do a double-take.

Megan fell asleep by Sammy on the floor.

Kathy and Haylee’s Visit to Phoenix

My sister, Kathy and Haylee came to visit over the weekend. We had a lot of fun just hanging out and doing kid stuff. This is the only picture I have of Kath and I, but we took lots of pics of our girls playing. Haylee played so cute with Emilee and Megan. The girls were so sad to see them go and wanted to hop on the plane with them. To see our pics from their trip click HERE.

Happy Halloween!

Megan is Dorthy from Wizard of Oz. My mother made the costume for Emilee two years ago. Matt is a Hippie – what he is every year. I am Lady Juliet (Matt would not be Romeo). Emilee is an Enchanted Butterfly. We all had a great time dressing up again this year. It was a very different experience being in AZ than it was in MN. Not only the weather, but the neighborhood. We had so many more kids here and it made it that much more fun. The girls had their school parties during the day and we had a neighborhood get together at night. Too see pics of our day click HERE. We hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween!
