Friends!

Last weekend we had a lot going on with parties. On Saturday I went to lunch with some girlfriends for the last time before we move. That night we had a fun couples dinner that Lanae catered at her house. Really good food! It was such a great idea and I think they might be catering more events now. Love these friends and I’m so glad we are all so close!
On Sunday, our friends from our ward hosted a goodbye open house for us. Again, we had such a great time hanging out one last time with friends from our ward. Thanks for such a fun night.
We will miss you ALL!

Happy “Early” Birthday!

Emilee turns eight in Aug. but we had a birthday party for her early with all of her friends since we will be moved by then. She had such a fun party where the girls all got pampered by getting their hair, nails, and makeup done. I had Carissa and Chloe come to help me with all the girls. My mom and dad were here to help with the party as well. I couldn’t have done it without them. They all loved it and had a great time. In just a month Emilee will be baptized and she will have another fun celebration. Pics from her party are HERE!

St. George Trip

Every summer we go to St. George with all the cousins for a week trip. My parents live there and my sister has a 2nd home next door. It’s the perfect setup for family reunions. My mom is super woman! She does all the food for the whole week. WOW! She is the best cook and we are all amazed how she pulls off each meal every time without fail. It is so much fun to all be in the same place at the same time. We always have a blast talking, playing games, swimming, going fun places… the fun never ends. It is pretty crazy though with 17 grandchildren and all, but two are girls. The girls spent much of their time practicing dances for a fun performance they made for us. Trip to Cincinatti – Mason

Our new home is going to be in Mason, OH. Last weekend I went there to see the area and spend some quality time with just Matt and I. We had a great time together with great entertainment and amazing food! It’s so fun to move to new areas across the country. The culture is so different everywhere. What a great opportunity and experience this is going to be for our family. We are Excited!

First things first, going to see our new home we bought.
I was impressed. Love it! Matt did a great job finding this!
Then we went to see the girls school. Holy Moly! The girls schools are HUGE! The High School in Mason honestly looked like a college. Matt and I both were Amazed. This building is only for the first graders. They have their own building and an amazing playground just for them. Again, I was very impressed!

Matt and I went bowling. Both of us love to bowl. So here we are.

We did a lot of sight seeing this trip. We stopped to see this beautiful Catholic church building up on the hill. It was locked so we couldn’t go inside.

Memorial Day Weekend Cabin

We went to a cabin up in the white mountains for Memorial Day Weekend. We went to Pinewood last year and this year we went to Greer. The cabins were awesome! Everything we needed was right there in sight. A lake was close by that was stocked with fish. This is my way of camping for sure! Never again will I camp in a tent. The only bummer was that is was way too windy all weekend. We had such a blast though. My friends always make the best food for this trip. Our kids all get along so well and love playing together. We all love hanging out and talking. When the kids all go to bed we have lots of time to just be together. Took over 400 pics. I know Crazy right? But the pics are all worth it.
