Annual Girls Trip!

This is the trip I look forward to most each year. We get to leave home and stay together for a fun weekend just us girls. This year we went to Newport Beach, Cal.  I enjoy our conversations best, but eating out, playing games, walking on the beach, shopping, movies, etc. are a close second. The weekend goes so fast and it’s hard to have it end. I am so sad that it is over, but I am sooooo glad that it happened! I love you girlies!!!

As I look at these pictures, I can’t help but think what it will be like when I start this tradition with my own four girls!  Sooooooo FUN!!!  How do we take so many pictures each time??? I guess because we are all taking them at different times. Click HERE to see our fun trip.

Happy Easter!

Easter was filled with so many fun things. The girls had a great time celebrating the fun parts of Easter as well as talking about its true meaning. Emilee gave a great talk in Primary. The girls found their Easter baskets, decorated eggs, did an Easter egg hunt, helped with Easter dinner, made crafts, and we closed off the night with an Easter program. Like I said, “Fun filled Easter Day!”
Our pics from the day are HERE.

Good Friday!

We had a Good Friday party at our friends house. It was a lot of fun. We did a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Great food, great company, who could ask for anything more?
Chillin’ on the hammock.

She was excited for each one she got.

So Happy!
Now the big kids turn. Lots of eggs, hidden in hard places.
Keep looking…
You can see the eggs have glow-in-the dark paint on them.
Brooke had glow sticks on. Very cute!

No flash. I love the way the fire looks and the glow sticks.

Spring Break!

We really went back and forth about taking our family somewhere fun for Spring Break, but overall it felt like a lot more work than fun with a baby and toddler. So we did A LOT of FUN things around here. Everyday we did at least one activity and went out to eat as much as we could. In fact, I didn’t cook one time all week. Sooooo NICE! Really felt like a vacation. 🙂 I didn’t get pics of everything we did, but for a recap of our week, click
